Major Depressive Disorder as a Post COVID Infection Sequela

COVID-19 has taken the world by storm, producing a multitude of concerning sequela in all genders and age groups. One surprising finding is onset depression post COVID recovery patients with no past medical history psychiatric illness. The following case report discusses 52-year-old female pneumonia secondary to April 2021, who presented recurrent falls syncopal episode. On review systems, it was discovered that patient new since recovering from related pneumonia. Patient yet follow up an outpatient psychiatrist.
